I. Performance and use

This product is mainly composed of 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazoline-3-one (CMI) and 2-methyl-4-isothiazoline-3-one (MI). This product kills by breaking the bonds between bacteria and algae proteins. After contacting with microorganisms, this product can quickly and irreversibly inhibit their growth, thereby causing the death of microbial cells, so it has a strong inhibitory and killing effect on common bacteria, fungi, algae, etc. It has high killing efficiency, good degradability, no residue, safe operation, good compatibility, strong stability, and low cost of use. It can be miscible with chlorine and most anionic, cationic and non-ionic surfactants. At high doses, this product has a significant effect on the stripping of biological slime.

This product is a broad-spectrum, high-efficiency, low-toxic, non-oxidizing biocide.

2. Application fields

Widely used in oil fields, papermaking, pesticides, cutting oils, leather, inks, dyes, leather making, coatings, water-based polymers, metal cutting fluids, adhesives and other fields.

4. Usage

In aqueous systems such as coatings and polymer synthetic emulsions, the general concentration is 0.05% to 0.4%, depending on whether the product is susceptible to microbial erosion and the storage environment of the product. When used as a slime stripper, the concentration is 150-300 mg/l; when used as a fungicide, it is added every 3-7 days, and the dosage is 80-100 mg/L. It can be used simultaneously with oxidizing fungicides such as chlorine, but cannot be used in cooling water systems containing sulfides. This product has a better effect when used in combination with quaternary ammonium salts.

When this product is used as an industrial bactericide and mildew preventer, the general concentration is 0.05-0.4%.

6. Safe operation

Wear protective clothing, rubber gloves, goggles and masks during operation to avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes. Once contacted, rinse with plenty of water immediately without delay! Do not contact with skin for a long time. Seek medical attention in time if necessary.

7. Packaging and storage

Packaged in plastic barrels, 25kg per barrel or determined according to user requirements; stored in a cool place indoors.
