Properties

STD F-810 is a multi-functional, adhesion promoting flow and levelling agent. The novel surface active STD F-810 polymer modifies coating surfaces in such way that adhesion to UV curing inks and coatings is considerably improved.

As an effective flow and levelling additive STD F-810 controls the surface tension of a coating thus eliminating surface defects such as orange peel,craters, and pinholes. STD F-810 also has a positive effect on substrate wetting.

Addition Method and Dosage

The properties of STD F-810 make it ideal for improving UV ink adhesion to various base coats.

The additive is compatible with most solvent-borne systems independently of lacquer chemistry.

Formulations containing STD F-810 can be recoated.

Post addition is recommended.

Liquid polymer (100%)

Soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, DBE and acetates.

Insoluble in water.

Storage Stability

Storage stability is three years from the date of production when stored at temperatures below 25 °C in closed containers.
