Polyvinyl Alcohol is a white or yellowish, granular or powdery, stable, non-toxic, water-soluble polymer. Polyvinyl Alcohol has good film making property, the film formed has excellent adhesion, solvent resistance, abrasion resistance, tensile strength and oxygen barrier. Polyvinyl alcohol has both hydrophilic and hydrophobic functional groups, so polyvinyl alcohol has the nature of interface activity, can also be used as polymer emulsification, suspension polymerization reaction of the protective colloid.
